The Koger Center for the Arts is located on the campus of The University of South Carolina and is also owned and operated by the university. It has been open since 1989 and was named for Ira & Nancy Koger. They made a substantial donation from personal and corporate funds to help construct this $15 million center. It is a beautiful center that celebrates theater and the performing arts. The first performance ever given here was by the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
